INVITING SMALL, HISPANIC & MINORITY BUSINESSES TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE PANDEMIC ECONOMY
In 2021, the Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) with a grant to design, launch and operate the SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program for Technical Assistance and Development of Hispanic Small Businesses, known as USHCC Navigates Small Business. The USHCC was selected among over 50 applicants nationwide who will manage programs to support minority business development during the pandemic and post-pandemic economy, totally free of charge.
Over the two years of this unprecedented effort to support minority entrepreneurship, the USHCC will act as a Hub, leading five spokes strategically located in areas across the nation with significant concentration of Hispanic and minority businesses, empowering them to support underserved opportunity communities. The USHCC selected these Spokes, which are among the over 260 Hispanic chambers of chambers that make up our network, because of their experience creating impact in their business communities with other broad-ranging public sector programs and partnerships.
The USHCC is honored to be a part of the SBA’s Community Navigator network, leading small, Hispanic and minority companies and entrepreneurs as they navigate through the challenges and opportunities that will make them grow, thrive and contribute to public and corporate supply chains and the economy at large.
Participating in USHCC Navigates Small Business is 100% free.
